Common Approaches

There's more than one way to approach a landscaping project. Here's a plain-language breakdown of the most common options, so you can go into your estimate with a sense of what might fit your project.

1

New design & install

A full redesign of some or all of your outdoor space, often including plantings, hardscape, lighting, and irrigation.

2

Renovation

Updating or replacing existing landscaping — removing overgrown plantings, refreshing beds, or redoing hardscape.

3

Ongoing maintenance

Recurring care for an already-established landscape, rather than a one-time installation project.

Not sure which approach is right for your project? That's completely normal — mention it when you request your estimate, and a project assistant can help you think through the tradeoffs.
